Alertas de Elegibilidad Para Hospice

Hospice no es solo para pacientes que han llegado a una etapa de debilidad extrema. Hay muchas señales más pequeñas que indican que un paciente puede estar listo para cuidados de hospice en casa.

¿Cuáles son las alertas de elegibilidad más sutiles y habituales para un hospice?

Una persona puede ser elegible para un hospice si:

  • No mejora después de una caída o deterioro de la salud incluso con intervención o terapia
  • Necesita más ayuda con las actividades de la vida diaria, como caminar, vestirse o bañarse
  • Es más dependiente de aparatos ortopédicos
