Direct Care Services Workforce Grant- FSSA (Indiana Family & Social Service Administration) is issuing Elara Caring, Medicaid provider number 300030938, funding to support our direct service workforce. With the first installment we plan to utilize 95% of this funding in the form of: (1) bonuses paid to our direct care staff based on the percentage of hours worked from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022, as well as (2) gas cards for those direct care staff needing assistance with transportation. With the second installment we will base bonuses on the percentage of hours worked in the two most recent quarters as well as gas cards. With the third installment we will base bonuses only the two most recent quarters.
Bonus pay outs will be distributed via direct deposit to the employees as an off-cycle payment.
Current employees who have provided care to Medicaid patients and are in good standing, have not changed their employment status or submitted a resignation prior to each distribution, will receive their bonus in quarters 1, 2, and 3 of 2023.
