Caring Career Spotlight: Lisbeth, Care Team Manager

When Lisbeth joined Elara Caring in 2019 as an administrative assistant, she quickly realized she had found more than a job.

“I love helping people,” she said.

Whether she was supporting patients and families, answering questions from caregivers or helping aides feel confident using technology, she discovered that even the smallest moments could make a meaningful difference.

That passion for helping others led to a series of new opportunities. Lisbeth advanced from administrative assistant to timekeeping, then to community liaison and recruitment before being promoted to care team manager for personal care services in New Jersey. Along the way, she gained experience in operations, payroll, staffing, recruitment and community outreach, giving her a unique understanding of how every role supports quality care at home.

Today, as Care Team Manager, Lisbeth leads the placement team, helping coordinate caregivers with patients while supporting staffing needs and solving daily challenges.

“Behind every schedule, every phone call and every case, there is a patient, a family and a caregiver depending on us,” she said. “Knowing that our work brings comfort, support and peace of mind to families reminds me why I chose this career.”

One experience continues to reinforce that purpose. A patient needed reliable Sunday care after being left without support by a previous provider. Lisbeth quickly identified a qualified caregiver, expedited the hiring process and completed their orientation so the aide could begin caring for the patient that same weekend. The family remained with Elara Caring, knowing they had found a team they could count on.

“That moment reminded me why our work matters,” Lisbeth said. “When we work with urgency, teamwork and compassion, we can make a real difference for patients and their families.”

Reflecting on her own career, Lisbeth is grateful for the opportunities she’s had to grow.

“Elara has a culture where people come together to solve challenges, support one another and keep patient care as the main priority,” she said. “I hope my story can inspire others and show that growth is possible when you stay committed, work hard and truly care about the work you do.”
