My Care Makes a Difference – A Personal Care Aide Testimonial

“What I really love about my job, working for Elara Caring, is that it’s purpose driven work. My care makes a difference in somebody’s day, every single day.

It is rewarding when I knock on a client’s door, and I open the door for the first time, and their face lights up and they are excited to see me.

As a care provider, some of the tasks I complete may seem small, such as going to the grocery store or taking a dog for a walk, but these tasks bring clients so much joy because it enables them to live independently in their home.

Also, the flexible schedule works really well with my life because I am a full-time student, as well as in nursing school. It allows me the time to work in the afternoons while I go to school in the morning.

The best part at working for Elara is the fact that I am with these clients on their good days and their bad days. I get to see the progress from every hard moment to all the good moments as well.”

– Jessica, Personal Care Aide, Michigan
