Do I Qualify? If So, How Do I Pay?
If you have Medicaid or limited income, you may qualify for community care services at no cost to you. We can work with local agencies to seek approval for qualifying individuals. Your needs will be evaluated to determine coverages available to meet your individual needs. Other insurances may be accepted. Please note that payment/insurance acceptance may vary based on your service area.
Personal Care Programs
- Recruit, hire, and train your own personal assistant, which can include a family member, friend or someone you know and trust in your neighborhood.
- Most people, including adult children can serve as Personal Assistants and get paid to provide care under CDPAP. Spouses do not qualify.
- You must be Medicaid Eligible.
- Job duties include help with activities of daily living, bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication, shopping, errands and more.
