Twelve Elara Caring Locations Earn 2025 SHPBest Awards
When patients and families welcome us into their homes, they trust us to provide care that helps them feel supported, heard and confident in the path ahead.
Feedback from those we serve is one of the most meaningful measures of that care. That is why we are honored to announce that 12 Elara Caring hospice and skilled home health locations have earned 2025 SHPBest™ Awards for outstanding patient and caregiver satisfaction.
The annual SHPBest award program recognizes home health and hospice providers that consistently deliver high-quality service. Awards are based on feedback collected through the Home Health Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HHCAHPS) survey and the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) Hospice Survey.
What is an SHPBest Award?
Strategic Healthcare Programs (SHP) uses patient and caregiver survey results to compare eligible home health and hospice providers across its national database.
Premier Performer recipients rank in the top 5% of eligible SHP providers, while Superior Performer recipients rank in the top 20%. Award recipients must also meet or exceed the SHP national average across each publicly reported area measured by the surveys.
For skilled home health, the results reflect feedback from patients about their experience receiving care. For hospice, the results reflect feedback from caregivers and family members about the care and support their loved one received.
These awards represent more than strong survey scores. They reflect the trust our teams build by listening closely, communicating clearly and providing compassionate care based on each person’s needs.

Hospice care supports the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of patients living with a life-limiting illness. It also provides education, guidance and support for the people who care about them. This recognition reflects the compassion and dedication our hospice teams bring to patients and families throughout their care journey.

Skilled home health brings clinical care and support to patients where they live. Depending on the patient’s needs and plan of care, services may include skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, medical social work and home health aide support.
Our skilled home health teams help patients manage health conditions, recover after an illness, injury or hospital stay and work toward greater safety and independence at home. These awards reflect the experiences of the patients who trusted our teams to support those goals.
