Why Work With Us? A Team Member Testimonial

Why join the Elara Caring team?

There are many reasons we think you’d enjoy a home care career at Elara Caring. But don’t take our word for it. Faith, RN on our Ohio home health team, shared her experience working as an Elara Caring nurse below.

A happy nursing school graduate in her cap and gown with a stethoscope around her neck

“I am a newly registered nurse and recently started my experience working with Elara Caring Home Health early this past spring. What I love about my career choice is that it is the perfect combination of compassionate and patient-centered care that truly benefits the well-being of others. I made the change to skilled home health nursing because I was looking for the opportunity to apply my knowledge and skills, coupled with my love for taking care of others, to give the right care at the right time in the right place. Working with Elara Caring has provided me the best opportunity to do this and more.

In my most recent months with Elara, I have been gifted with an enormous amount of support, which has greatly influenced my feelings as a new grad. In the nursing profession it is just as important to be a capable nurse for your patients as well as having the resources and team members to educate and support you.

As a new grad, most struggle with confidence and lack of experience. Elara and its team members have truly validated me as a caregiver and have continued to encourage and facilitate growth in many aspects of my care (and with smiles on their faces). Elara has instilled great values into their organization that makes its way into the homes of every patient. To give the right care, at the right time, at the right place is something I wanted to be a part of and is what drew me to apply with Elara Caring. I am honored to be a vital team member and share in the many ways that Elara cares for their patients.”
