Someone from Elara Caring contacted me and asked me for money for supplies. Should I reply?
We have learned that job seekers have been contacted by individuals who are falsely representing themselves as Elara Caring executives or recruiters from email addresses that are like @elara.com.
If you have been offered a position, asked for personal or banking information, or asked to deposit a check for supplies, here are some tips to ensure you are corresponding with Elara Caring.
- Confirm the communication is coming from @elara.com. Applicants only receive emails from @elara.com email addresses.
- Other variations, such as elara.net, elaracaring.net and elaracare.org are not from our company.
- Report suspicious emails to your state’s attorney general and any third-party job site you used to apply.
- If you are not sure about the sender, email info@elara.com to confirm the email is from our company before replying.
