Recruiting Scam Warning

It has come to our attention that job seekers have been contacted by individuals who are falsely representing themselves as Elara executives or recruiters.  The candidates have been contacted from email addresses that are similar to but not from @elara.com. In some cases, the job seekers are offered a position and asked for personal or banking information and asked to deposit a check for supplies. Here are some tips to ensure you are corresponding with Elara Caring.

  • Confirm the communication is coming from @Elara.com.  Applicants will receive emails only from @elara .com email addresses.  Other variations, such as elara.net, elaracaring.net, and elaracare.org are not from our company.
  • If you are not sure about the sender, you can email info@elara.com to confirm it is from our company.
  • Report any suspicious emails to your state’s Attorney General’s Office and third party job site to which you applied.
